Apple changed the Control Center in iOS 11 with a new face and modular concept can be added or subtracted for features you do not use. Speaking of the built-in features of the Control Center, AirDrop access is one of the features that are always in the Control Center. However, many iOS 11 users are not yet aware of AirDrop access to Control Center iOS 11.
AirDrop in Control Center iOS 11
Apple does not remove AirDrop from the iOS 11 Control Center. The access is made just a little hidden but still easy to find to use anytime you need it. Here’s the complete guide:
- Access Control Center premises how to swipe from bottom to top on iPhone or iPad device. As for the iPhone X, access Control Center by the swipe from top to bottom on the right side of the screen.
- In the upper left box (containing Airplane Mode, Cellular Data, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth), press and hold and the menu as shown below will appear.
- Select AirDrop and activate as needed Receiving Off, Contacts Only and Everyone. The Receiving Off mode will turn off the blue icon for AirDrop and the rest will make the blue alias icon active.
In addition to notes, iPhone devices that support 3D Touch require slightly tougher pressure to perform the 2nd guide because this feature uses the peek and pop 3D Touch method. As for the old generation iPhone that does not support 3D Touch, access is simply press and hold for a few moments.
Never used AirDrop? This feature is useful to help users of iOS devices and Mac computers to exchange data in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth range. You do not need to install additional apps to enjoy AirDrop feature, everything runs easily, quickly and safely. A complete guide to using AirDrop can be found on the Apple Support page, yes!
